September 2011 highlights

A few highlights from the last two weeks. We've had some welcome cooler weather, saw manatees at our Brunswick shop, and tons of wildlife on our kayak and powerboat tours.

We even ran into naturalist extraordinaire Stacia on the dock at Little St. Simons with a very large clam.

We had a wonderful family from Kentucky boating on the Norma yesterday evening.  I've yet to not see dolphins on a Norma tour (which shows their abundance here) but have never seen as many as last night.  There were twenty or more in several active pods, other wildlife and birds, food, drinks, and  a beautiful sunset.

June 2011 Popular Mechanics article at Cabin Bluff

We helped out on an article about Cabin Bluff for Popular Mechanics earlier this year.  We supplied the kayaks and went kayaking with Matt, Seth, Scott, and Josh.  It was a great time, and we even caught some trout off the dock that evening. A special thanks to Taylor Adams for inviting Southeast Adventure to participate.
