A few resolutions we have for 2014:
1. Give back: plan at least 10 paddling events for local nonprofits including Morningstar Children and Family Services, the Boys and Girls Club of Southeast GA, Casa Glynn, Safe Harbor, Coastal Coalition for Children, 1boy4change, Paddle4Tommorow, and other awesome groups and people like them serving the needs of others and making the world a better place. Take out a least 100 of these kids at no charge that otherwise might not get a chance to experience paddling a kayak. If you are a part of one of these groups or know another that would benefit from a fun paddling trip please contact us.
2. When possible buy 'made in America' products and products made responsibly. Easy with our kayak vendors, most are in the surrounding states. Tougher for clothing and accessories but we'll endeavor to be more aware.
3. Continue our record of over 30,000 people safely introduced to the wonders of Coastal GA. Review and continually update our safety training and procedures and continue to help our local emergency responders to the best of our ability to make our beaches and waterways as safe as possible for our residents and visitors.
4. Celebrate our 20th anniversary this year! Have a big party in March. You will all be invited.
5. Continue our charitable giving to over 50 nonprofits and important causes, mostly local.
6. Strive to offer excellent customer service, exceed expectations, and treat everyone with kindness, conscientiousness, and a smiling face while sharing beautiful Coastal GA and express our gratitude for the awesome support we've received through the years.
