Photoshoot for Native Watercraft kayak catalog

Had a beautiful day with photographer Tim Brown from Native Watercraft shooting photos and videos for their catalog and website.  Here are some photos we have to share.  Locals Jenny and Catherine made their boats look great.  As did Stacy, Mary Brooke, and Lucy.  Charlie and Michael tried to stay out of the way.

Ultimate 12 propel is great for fishing....

I've decided being hands-free and using a foot propelled kayak is the way to go when fishing.  I used an Ultimate 12 propel off our Brunswick dock for an hour Saturday.  It's easy to stand up in and when you need to move forward or backward it's easy to reach down and spin the pedals with your hand.  I never touched the paddle and was easily able to cover the entire basin around the shop.  Being able to cast constantly and work the current and wind without ever stopping fishing was great.  This 26" red tried to pull me into the grass but I was backpedalling while we fought and kept him from getting tangled up.
